I know I should read more. But between work, school, life and death - there isn't enough time in the day. So I rely heavily on email newsletters from the usual suspects: The Note, CBS Wrap, The Onion, Lost Remote, The New York Times, The Washington Post, MSNBC -- you get the picture, right?

So imagine my horror when I check my email and find my NYT headlines -- accompanied by this picture smack right dab in the middle of the news headlines and blurbs. No indication it's an advertisement - no indication the quote used is for an ad. And the picture links to Ashley's Story - a poor little girl who they claim lost her mother on 9/11 - how much more exploitave can they get? I'm beyond outraged - I just haven't figured out the appropriate words in the English language to describe it.
